100% brings together some of our most iconic athletes across multiple sports to bring you VISIONARIES.
Showcasing the commonalities and respect they have for one another through sport and conversation. The common denominator of these athletes is their drive to give 100% in everything they do.
Episode 2 of VISIONARIES showcases a week of riding different MTB disciplines across the French landscape featuring 100% riders Thomas Genon and Brook MacDonald.
We met Brook in the South of France (La Grande Combe) fresh upon landing from his native New Zealand to start couple weeks of training camp with his mechanic, Ben.
A fresh new kit for The Bulldog since becoming a complete 100% rider wearing our full range of riding gear.
Brook’s mantra was tattooed on his leg by his Aussie friend and fellow athlete Remy Morton.
Tommy G gets direction from Brook during an afternoon of Downhill training. Finding the fastest line in an effort to keep up with Brook was Tommy’s top priority!
The boys worked on their lines all day with Tommy G becoming quite comfortable and following Brook with full trust.
After the downhill session, Tommy G invited Brook to his backyard course built especially for dirt jump sessions. The location is based in Ardeche…a beautiful place known for its river and kayaking spots.
Brook looking at the dirt jumps for the first time with his typical intense focus.
After packing in the jumps and a few tips from Tommy G, the magic really started to happen. Brook was a quick learner and started laying down some tricks of his own.
First try! Training for Rampage?
Tommy G – fully extended Superman seat-grab.
The enormous smile on Brook’s face says it all!
We had the best welcome from Tommy’s family and friends.
Next, we drove north into Les Vosges where Brook’s mechanic is from. The spot of St Dié-des-Vosges is packed fir trees and loamy dirt creating an epic landscape to ride.
Although Brook and Thomas knew each other from Crankworx, they never rode together before this trip.
Tommy G was flying with style on the course.
The effortless style of Tommy G.
Two different visions, but the same love and passion for the sport.
