Lakewood Colorado, home to not much oxygen, but an awesome motocross track better known as Thunder Valley. This rather scenic track has been known to cause some drama and reach up and bite people hard. This year was no exception.

The Geico Honda guys were out in full force, still looking for better results, but they finished respectively. Rj Hampshire(left) digging into one of the many deep and rough ruts that the track to offer. Chase Sexton(right) kicking out some style painted into the green hills of Colorado.

Marvin Musquin maintained his consistency, riding with his favorite Accuri motocross goggles on his way to a 4th place overall finish. He has showed he has the speed, will he reach the top step soon?

Aaron Plessinger came into the weekend tied in the overall points standings. After a pair of mediocre to bad starts, he finished the weekend with a 6th overall and now trails Jeremy Martin in the points chase by 8.

Justin Cooper off to a rocket of a start moto 1, leaving the whole field to chase. He would go on to win this moto.

Jeremy Martin on the other hand, came into the weekend just a few spots behind the two leaders and left with an 8 point lead. His 2-1 on the day gave him the overall and that ever so desirable red plate.
